GentlePrepTM Yeast Protein Extraction Kit
Description GentlePrepTM Yeast Protein Extraction Kit is developed for extraction of functionally active soluble proteins from yeast cells which is based on a mild detergent-based cell lysis method. This kit can efficiently circumvent oxidative damage to proteins caused by conventional extraction methods using ultrasonic or glass beads. Protease inhibitor included in this kit can protect proteins from degradation. The protein extract is compatible with many downstream applications including Ni-NTA and GST affinity purification, enzyme assays, gel electrophoresis etc. Features 1) Giving high protein yields 2) Release functionally active soluble proteins 3) Effective for many different organisms including Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Schizosaccharomyces pombe, Pichia pastoris, Bacillus subtilus, E.coli, Gram-positive bacteria etc. 4) Require a short extraction time Components 1) YP Solution: 25 mL (25 preps), 100 mL (100 preps) 2) Protease Inhibitor Cocktail: 250 µL (25 preps), 1 mL (100 preps) Storage 1) Protease inhibitor cocktail: -20°C 2) Other components: room temperature Disclaimer This product is for research use only. |
