INTRODUCTION

Chimeric Antigen Receptors (CARs) are recombinant receptors that are composed of four regions: an antigen recognition domain (ectodomain), a hinge region, a transmembrane region, and an intracellular T cell signaling domain (endodomain). CAR-T cell therapy uses T cells engineered with CARs to target specific antigen(s) for cancer immunotherapy.

Prostate stem cell antigen (PSCA) is a glycosylphosphatidylinositol-anchored cell membrane glycoprotein. PSCA is expressed in the prostate, bladder, placenta, colon, kidney, and stomach. PSCA is up-regulated in a large proportion of prostate cancers and in cancers of the bladder and pancreas. PSCA protein is a target of chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cells used in the treatment of cancers.

RGBiotech offers PSCA scFv-CD3ζ (1st) CAR Expression Plasmid to assist CAR-T research. This vector contains a first (1st) generation of PSCA CAR that consists of four major components: 1) anti-PSCA scFv as an extracellular antigen-binding domain, 2) a hinge region, 3) a transmembrane domain, and 4) CD3ζ (CDzeta, CD247) intracellular signaling domain.
