CD7 scFv-CD3ζ (1st) CAR Expression Plasmid Item No.: PCAR-181Shipping: 2 μg Storage: -20°C INTRODUCTION Chimeric Antigen Receptors (CARs) are recombinant receptors that are composed of four regions: an antigen recognition domain (ectodomain), a hinge region, a transmembrane region, and an intracellular T cell signaling domain (endodomain). CAR-T cell therapy uses T cells engineered with CARs to target specific antigen(s) for cancer immunotherapy. CD7 (Cluster of Differentiation 7) is a transmembrane protein which is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily. CD7 interacts with PIK3R1. It plays important roles in T-cell and T-cell/B-cell interactions during early lymphoid development. Expression of CD7 protein has been found on thymocytes and mature T cells. CD7 protein is a target of chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cells used in the treatment of CD7-positive malignancies. RGBiotech offers CD7 scFv-CD3ζ (1st) CAR Expression Plasmid to assist CAR-T research. This vector contains a first (1st) generation of CD7 CAR that consists of four major components: 1) anti-CD7 scFv as an extracellular antigen-binding domain, 2) a hinge region, 3) a transmembrane domain, and 4) CD3ζ (CDzeta, CD247) intracellular signaling domain.
