INTRODUCTION

Chimeric Antigen Receptors (CARs) are recombinant receptors that are composed of four regions: an antigen recognition domain (ectodomain), a hinge region, a transmembrane region, and an intracellular T cell signaling domain (endodomain). CAR-T cell therapy uses T cells engineered with CARs to target specific antigen(s) for cancer immunotherapy.

TRBC1 (T cell receptor beta constant 1) is a protein predicted to be located in plasma membrane. TRBC1 may be involved in several processes, including activation of immune response, defense response to other organisms and phagocytosis. TRBC1 protein is a target of chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cells used in the treatment of T cell malignancies.

RGBiotech offers TRBC1 scFv-CD28-CD27-CD3ζ (3rd) CAR Expression Plasmid to assist CAR-T research. This vector contains a third (3rd) generation of TRBC1 CAR that consists of four major components: 1) anti-TRBC1 scFv as an extracellular antigen-binding domain, 2) a hinge region, 3) a transmembrane domain, and 4) CD28, CD27 and CD3ζ (CDzeta, CD247) intracellular signaling domains.
