INTRODUCTION

Chimeric Antigen Receptors (CARs) are recombinant receptors that are composed of four regions: an antigen recognition domain (ectodomain), a hinge region, a transmembrane region, and an intracellular T cell signaling domain (endodomain). CAR-T cell therapy uses T cells engineered with CARs to target specific antigen(s) for cancer immunotherapy.

Mouse CD19 (Gene ID: 12478) is involved in several processes, including B-1 B cell differentiation, positive regulation of phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase activity, and positive regulation of release of sequestered calcium ion into cytosol. Mouse CD19 acts upstream of or within B cell receptor signaling pathway. It functions as a coreceptor for the B-cell antigen receptor complex (BCR) on B-lymphocytes. Mouse CD19 is located in external side of plasma membrane and is integral component of plasma membrane. Mouse CD19 is expressed in liver and spleen.

RGBiotech offers mCD19 scFv-4-1BB-CD3ζ (2nd) CAR expression plasmid vector to assist CAR-T research. This vector contains a second (2nd) generation of mouse CD19 CAR that consists of four major components: 1) anti-mouse-CD19 scFv as an extracellular antigen-binding domain, 2) a hinge region, 3) a transmembrane domain, and 4) 4-1BB (TNFRSF9, CD137) and CD3ζ (CDzeta, CD247) intracellular signaling domains.
