B7H4 scFv-CD28-CD3ζ (2nd) CAR Expression Plasmid Item No.: PCAR-080Shipping: 2 μg Storage: -20°C INTRODUCTION Chimeric Antigen Receptors (CARs) are recombinant receptors that are composed of four regions: an antigen recognition domain (ectodomain), a hinge region, a transmembrane region, and an intracellular T cell signaling domain (endodomain). CAR-T cell therapy uses T cells engineered with CARs to target specific antigen(s) for cancer immunotherapy. B7H4 (also known as VTCN1) is an immune checkpoint molecule that belongs to the B7 costimulatory protein family. These proteins are expressed on the surface of antigen-presenting cells (APCs) and interact with ligands (e.g., CD28) bound to receptors on the surface of T cells. High level expression of B7H4 has been correlated with tumor progression. B7H4 protein is a target of chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cells used in the treatment of cancers. RGBiotech offers B7H4 scFv-CD28-CD3ζ (2nd) CAR Expression Plasmid to assist CAR-T research. This vector contains a second (2nd) generation of B7H4 CAR that consists of four major components: 1) anti-B7H4 scFv as an extracellular antigen-binding domain, 2) a hinge region, 3) a transmembrane domain, and 4) CD28 and CD3ζ (CDzeta, CD247) intracellular signaling domains.
