Aprotinin (brand names Artiss, Tisseel, Trasylol), also known as bovine pancreatic trypsin inhibitor (BPTI), is a serine protease inhibitor that is used as an antifibrinolytic molecule to inhibit trypsin and related proteolytic enzymes.
