INTRODUCTION

Dornase alfa (brand name Pulmozyme) is a recombinant human deoxyribonuclease I (rhDNase) enzyme which selectively break down extracellular DNA in the lungs. Dornase alfa is used for the treatment of cystic fibrosis.

This plasmid is designed for expressing Dornase alfa in mammalian Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells.
