INTRODUCTION

Erythropoietin (brand names Abseamed, Epoetin Alfa Hexal, Epogen, Eporatio, Epprex, Eprex, Procrit, Retacrit, Silapo) as a medication is a recombinant human erythropoietin (rhEPO). Erythropoietin is used for the treatment of anemia in chronic kidney disease, anemia in myelodysplasia, and in anemia from cancer chemotherapy.

This plasmid is designed for expressing Erythropoietin in mammalian expression system such as HEK293 or Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cell line.
