INTRODUCTION

Follitropin (brand names Accofil, Granix, Grastofil, Neupogen, Nivestim, Nivestym, Ratiograstim, Releuko, Zarxio) is a recombinant human follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) that consists of non-covalently linked alpha-subunit (92 aa) and beta-subunit (111 aa). Follitropin is used to stimulate follicle development in women with primary ovarian hypogonadism and in men with hypogonadotropic hypogonadism.

This plasmid is designed for expressing Filgrastim in mammalian Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cell line.
