INTRODUCTION

Galsulfase (brand name Naglazyme) is a recombinant human enzyme consisting of 495 amino acids. Galsulfase is used for the treatment of of patients with Mucopolysaccharidosis VI which is a rare genetic disorder caused by a deficiency of a lysosomal enzyme.

This plasmid is designed for expressing Galsulfase in mammalian expression system such as HEK293 or Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cell line.
