INTRODUCTION

Interferon alfa-2b is a recombinant human type I interferon that is used as an antiviral or antineoplastic agent to treat hepatitis B and C infection, genital warts, hairy cell leukemia, follicular lymphoma, malignant melanoma, and AIDs-related Kaposi's sarcoma.

This plasmid is designed for expressing Interferon alfa-2b in mammalian expression system such as HEK293 or Chinese Hamster Ovary (CHO) cell line.
