Laronidase Expression Plasmid INTRODUCTION Laronidase (brand name Aldurazyme) is recombinant human alpha-L-iduronidase that is used to treat Hurler and Hurler-Scheie forms of mucopolysaccharidosis, a genetic deficiency of alpha-L-iduronidase. This plasmid is designed for expressing Laronidase in mammalian expression system such as HEK293 or Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cell line.
