INTRODUCTION

Ramucirumab (brand names Perjeta, Perjeta-Herceptin, Phesgo) is a human monoclonal antibody (IgG1) that binds to vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2 (VEGFR2). Ramucirumab is used for the treatment of solid tumors by blocking VEGFR2 ligands (VEGF-A, VEGF-C, and VEGF-D).
