Teduglutide (brand name Gattex, Revestive) is a recombinant glucagon-like peptide-2 (GLP-2) analog that is used for the treatment of short bowel syndrome. Compared with the endogenous GLP-2, Teduglutide is more resistant to proteolysis from dipeptidyl peptidase-4 and shows longer acting.
