INTRODUCTION

Abciximab is a chimeric fragment antigen binding (Fab) fragment of human-murine monoclonal antibody. It inhibits platelet aggregation by binding to the glycoprotein (GP) IIb/IIIa receptor of human platelets.

This plasmid is designed for expression of abciximab in mammalian cells such as Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cell. RGBiotech can provide three types of abciximab expression plasmids: - The heavy chain and light chain are under the control of a same promoter linked by IRES. - The heavy chain and light chain are regulated by independent promoters in the same plasmid backbone. - The heavy chain and light chain are cloned into different plasmids.
