INTRODUCTION

Aflibercept is a recombinant fusion protein which is composed of two portions: the extracellular domains of human vascular endothelial growth factor VEGF receptors, and the Fc fragment of human IgG1 immunoglobulin. It inhibits the activities of human vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF).

This plasmid is designed for expression of abatacept in mammalian cells.
