INTRODUCTION

Alefacept is a fusion protein which is composed of two portions: the extracellular region of human leukocyte function antigen-3 (LFA-3) and the Fc region of human IgG1. It is an inhibitor of some T cells.

This plasmid is designed for expression of alefacept in Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells.
