Alglucerase is a recombinant beta-glucocerebrosidase enzyme that is used to replace the deficient endogenous enzyme in the treatment of Type 1 Gaucher's disease.

This plasmid is designed for expressing alglucerase in mammalian cells such as HEK293 or Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cell.
