INTRODUCTION

Alteplase (brand names Activase, Cathflo, Cathflo Activase) is a recombinant human tissue plasminogen activator (rt-PA) that is used as a thrombolytic agent in the treatment of acute ischemic stroke, acute ST-elevation myocardial infarction (a type of heart attack), pulmonary embolism.

This plasmid is designed for expressing Alteplase in Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cell line.
