Quick Inquiry |
NaProTM Expression Plasmids The transcription of a gene is generally regulated by several factors including RNA polymerase complex and transcription factors which play roles through binding to promoter regions of target genes. It has been reported that upregulation or downregulation of some genes is related with many diseases. There is an increasing interest in identification of unknown regulators and elucidation of regulatory mechanisms. The promoter sequences are major regulatory regions located upstream of target genes. RGBiotech offers NaProTM Expression Plasmids that are designed for promoter analysis. These plasmids contain 1) endogenous / native promoter sequences of genes from human, mouse and rat species, 2) target gene, or reporter gene, or target-reporter gene linker, 3) mammalian antibiotic resistant gene. The endogenous / native promoter is a 1 ~ 2 kb insert which covers up to ~ 2 kb upstream and up to ~ 200 bp downsteam of the transcription start site (TSS) of a specific gene.
