Custom shRNA plasmid construction

shRNA is an abbreviation of small hairpin RNA or short hairpin RNA. shRNA is artificially designed and its DNA encoding sequence is cloned into an expression vector. After delivery into the target cell, shRNA is produced and subsequently silence the target gene. shRNA is widely used for long-term gene silencing. The use of shRNA offers the possibility of long-term gene silencing. So far, shRNA has been widely used in RNAi experiments.

At RGBiotech, we have developed a proprietary algorithm used for shRNA design, combined with our synthesis platform and multiple expression vectors, it is easy to obtain an shRNA clone of your choice.

  • For each gene target, we design and construct four shRNA plasmid clones.
  • Positive and negative control shRNA expression clones are available.
  • We guarantee at least one of the four shRNAs has 70% or more knockdown efficiency.
  • We have multiple plasmid vectors to meet your need including non-viral vectors, lentiviral vectors, AAV vectors and adenovirus shuttle vectors. Our vectors have different promoters, fluorescent reporters, and/or antibiotic selection markers which enables customers a lot of options.
  • Each clone has 100% shRNA sequence accuracy verified by sequencing.
  • Product may be delivered as plasmid or E.coli stock.
  • We provide detailed COA including shRNA sequences.
