Validated shRNA Expression Plasmid Vectors

shRNA (short hairpin RNA or small hairpin RNA) is designed to silence target gene expression using the mechanism of RNA interference (RNAi). Since shRNA is an artificial RNA molecule, there is a possibility that the designed shRNA may not work as well as expected, meaning with no or low knockdown efficiency.

RGBiotech has a large number of shRNA expression plasmid vectors with validated knockdown efficiency. Using MCF7 or A549 or other target cells, most of our validated shRNA expression plasmid vectors are able to achieve 50% ~ 99% knockdown efficiency at the mRNA level determined by real-time quantitative PCR (RT-qPCR).
