MYC proto-oncogene, bHLH transcription factor (MYC), also known as MRTL, MYCC, c-Myc, bHLHe39 in human, is a nuclear phosphoprotein that plays a role in cell cycle progression, apoptosis and cellular transformation. MYC forms a heterodimeric complex with the protein MAX and this complex can regulate a variety of known target genes. Deregulated expression of MYC occurs in numerous human cancers indicating its key roles in tumor progression. For several decades, MYC has been widely and successfully used as a means to induce immortalization of various types of primary cells.

RGBiotech provides various types of plasmid vectors expressing human or mouse MYC to assist your scientific research work in the field of primary cell immortalization. Please contact us for more product information as well as the price.
