INTRODUCTION Yin Yang 1 (YY1) is a zinc finger transcription factor that positively and negatively regulate a diverse of genes. The binding site of transcription factor YY1, also known as YY1 Response Element (YY1RE), has been identified and characterized in several studies. RGBiotech offers multiple types of pYY1/RE-Reporter plasmids that contains multiple tandem repeats of YY1 binding sites upstream of a reporter gene driven by a basal / minimal promoter. Our pYY1/RE-Reporter plasmids can be used in monitoring YY1 activities, screening of YY1 activitors / inhibitors / homologs, studying regulatory mechanism of YY1 gene expression, by simply detecting reporter gene expression after delivery of the plasmid into target cells.
