INTRODUCTION GA-binding protein (GABP) is an ETS transcription factor that functions as a heterotetramer composed of GABPalpha and GABPbeta subunits. The GABPα2/β2 complex recognizes nucleotide sequences containing a 5'-GGAA/T-3' core motif. So far, GABP has been studied in several biological processes. RGBiotech offers multiple types of pGABP/RE-Reporter plasmids that contains multiple tandem repeats of GABP binding sites upstream of a reporter gene driven by a basal / minimal promoter. Our pGABP/RE-Reporter plasmids can be used in monitoring GABP activities, screening of GABP activitors / inhibitors / homologs, studying regulatory mechanism of GABP gene expression, by simply detecting reporter gene expression after delivery of the plasmid into target cells.
