INTRODUCTION General transcription factor II-I (GTF2I), also known as TFII-I, is a multifunctional transcriptional factor that can regulate a variety of genes by binding to its specific DNA response elements. RGBiotech offers multiple types of pGTF2I/RE-Reporter plasmids that contains multiple tandem repeats of GTF2I binding sites upstream of a reporter gene driven by a basal / minimal promoter. Our pGTF2I/RE-Reporter plasmids can be used in monitoring GTF2I activities, screening of GTF2I activitors / inhibitors / homologs, studying regulatory mechanism of GTF2I gene expression, by simply detecting reporter gene expression after delivery of the plasmid into target cells.
