pATF6/RE-Reporter Plasmid Item No.: PSP021Shipping: Plasmids on filter paper, or liquid plasmids, or lyophilized plasmids Storage: As indicated in the product datasheet or product label; according to the delivered product form, for plasmids on filter paper, store at 4°C, for liquid or lyophilized plasmids, store at less than -20°C. INTRODUCTION Activating transcription factor 6 (ATF6) is a basic-leucine zipper nuclear factor which is originally located in membranes of the endoplasmic reticulum (ER). ER stress leads to the proteolytic cleavage of ATF6 and translocation of its cytosolic portion to the nucleus. After that, the activated ATF6 binds to the ER stress response element (ERSE) and mediates ER stress response. RGBiotech offers multiple types of pATF6/RE-Reporter plasmids that contains multiple tandem repeats of ATF6 binding sites upstream of a reporter gene driven by a basal / minimal promoter. Our pATF6/RE-Reporter plasmids can be used in monitoring ATF6 activities, screening of ATF6 activitors / inhibitors / homologs, studying regulatory mechanism of ATF6 gene expression, by simply detecting reporter gene expression after delivery of the plasmid into target cells. VECTOR INFORMATION -> Vector backbone options: non-viral mammalian expression plasmid, lentiviral expression plasmid, adenoviral expression plasmid, AAV expression plasmid-> Reporter gene options: GFP, RFP, Luciferase, SEAP, CAT -> Mammalian antibiotic selection options: none, puromycin, neomycin, hygromycin Custom construction of pATF6/RE-Reporter Plasmid is also available at RGBiotech.
