INTRODUCTION POU class 3 homeobox 2 (POU3F2), also known as BRN2, is a neural transcription factor that belongs to the POU-III class. By binding to its specific sites, POU3F2 plays the regulatory role in transcription of diverse genes involved in mammalian neurogenesis. RGBiotech offers multiple types of pPOU3F2/RE-Reporter plasmids that contains multiple tandem repeats of POU3F2 binding sites upstream of a reporter gene driven by a basal / minimal promoter. Our pPOU3F2/RE-Reporter plasmids can be used in monitoring POU3F2 activities, screening of POU3F2 activitors / inhibitors / homologs, studying regulatory mechanism of POU3F2 gene expression, by simply detecting reporter gene expression after delivery of the plasmid into target cells.
