INTRODUCTION E2F is a group of transcription factors that act as gene activators or suppressors when they bind to the conserved DNA response elements located in the promoter region of target genes. RGBiotech offers multiple types of pE2F/RE-Reporter plasmids that contains multiple tandem repeats of E2F binding sites upstream of a reporter gene driven by a basal / minimal promoter. Our pE2F/RE-Reporter plasmids can be used in monitoring E2F activities, screening of E2F activitors / inhibitors / homologs, studying regulatory mechanism of E2F gene expression, by simply detecting reporter gene expression after delivery of the plasmid into target cells.
