INTRODUCTION SPI1, also known as PU.1, is an ETS transcription factor that binds to the PU box element upstream of target genes involved in myeloid and B-lymphoid cell development. RGBiotech offers multiple types of pSPI1/RE-Reporter plasmids that contains multiple tandem repeats of SPI1 binding sites upstream of a reporter gene driven by a basal / minimal promoter. Our pSPI1/RE-Reporter plasmids can be used in monitoring SPI1 activities, screening of SPI1 activitors / inhibitors / homologs, studying regulatory mechanism of SPI1 gene expression, by simply detecting reporter gene expression after delivery of the plasmid into target cells.
