INTRODUCTION Hepatocyte nuclear factor 3 (HNF3) is a subfamily of transcription factors including HNF-3 alpha, HNF-3 beta, and HNF-3 gamma. These transcription factors possess a winged helix DNA-binding domain which plays a role in binding to DNA motifs upstream of liver-specific genes. RGBiotech offers multiple types of pHNF3/RE-Reporter plasmids that contains multiple tandem repeats of HNF3 binding sites upstream of a reporter gene driven by a basal / minimal promoter. Our pHNF3/RE-Reporter plasmids can be used in monitoring HNF3 activities, screening of HNF3 activitors / inhibitors / homologs, studying regulatory mechanism of HNF3 gene expression, by simply detecting reporter gene expression after delivery of the plasmid into target cells.
