INTRODUCTION Zinc finger and BTB domain containing 18 (ZBTB18), also known as RP58, is a transcription factor involved in neuronal development. ZBTB18 protein recognizes a specific DNA motif and regulates those genes through binding to their promoters in the specific DNA motif. RGBiotech offers multiple types of pZBTB18/RE-Reporter plasmids that contains multiple tandem repeats of ZBTB18 binding sites upstream of a reporter gene driven by a basal / minimal promoter. Our pZBTB18/RE-Reporter plasmids can be used in monitoring ZBTB18 activities, screening of ZBTB18 activitors / inhibitors / homologs, studying regulatory mechanism of ZBTB18 gene expression, by simply detecting reporter gene expression after delivery of the plasmid into target cells.
