INTRODUCTION NK2 homeobox 5 (NKX2-5) is a homeobox-containing transcription factor which plays critical roles in differentiation and development. NKX2-5 binding DNA motif exists in the promoter region of many genes. RGBiotech offers multiple types of pNKX2-5/RE-Reporter plasmids that contains multiple tandem repeats of NKX2-5 binding sites upstream of a reporter gene driven by a basal / minimal promoter. Our pNKX2-5/RE-Reporter plasmids can be used in monitoring NKX2-5 activities, screening of NKX2-5 activitors / inhibitors / homologs, studying regulatory mechanism of NKX2-5 gene expression, by simply detecting reporter gene expression after delivery of the plasmid into target cells.
