INTRODUCTION Transcription factor 4 (TCF4)is also known as immunoglobulin transcription factor 2 (ITF-2), TCF4 protein is expressed in many tissues and regulates transcription activity of target genes when it binds to the Ephrussi-box ('E-box'), 5'-CANNTG-3'. RGBiotech offers multiple types of pTCF4/RE-Reporter plasmids that contains multiple tandem repeats of TCF4 binding sites upstream of a reporter gene driven by a basal / minimal promoter. Our pTCF4/RE-Reporter plasmids can be used in monitoring TCF4 activities, screening of TCF4 activitors / inhibitors / homologs, studying regulatory mechanism of TCF4 gene expression, by simply detecting reporter gene expression after delivery of the plasmid into target cells.
