INTRODUCTION Activating transcription factor 1 (ATF1) can control transcription of genes involved in diverse cellular activities. All target genes of ATF1 contain a specific DNA oligo sequence in their promoters which can be recognized and bound by ATF1 protein. RGBiotech offers multiple types of pATF1/RE-Reporter plasmids that contains multiple tandem repeats of ATF1 binding sites upstream of a reporter gene driven by a basal / minimal promoter. Our pATF1/RE-Reporter plasmids can be used in monitoring ATF1 activities, screening of ATF1 activitors / inhibitors / homologs, studying regulatory mechanism of ATF1 gene expression, by simply detecting reporter gene expression after delivery of the plasmid into target cells.
