INTRODUCTION POU class 1 homeobox 1 (POU1F1), also known as POU domain, class 1, transcription factor 1 (PIT1), is a transcription factor of the POU family which involves in pituitary development and hormone expression. Genes containing DNA response elements of POU1F1 are under the control of this protein in the process of transcription. RGBiotech offers multiple types of pPOU1F1/RE-Reporter plasmids that contains multiple tandem repeats of POU1F1 binding sites upstream of a reporter gene driven by a basal / minimal promoter. Our pPOU1F1/RE-Reporter plasmids can be used in monitoring POU1F1 activities, screening of POU1F1 activitors / inhibitors / homologs, studying regulatory mechanism of POU1F1 gene expression, by simply detecting reporter gene expression after delivery of the plasmid into target cells.
